Hi guys,
I just installed Red Hat 6.1 on a IBM Thinkpad 390X. The install went
perfectly. However, I am unable to anything network related. The card
I have is a Xircom pcmcia CE3B-100BTX. The cardmanager sees it and
loads the modules for it. That's it. No matter what IP I assign it, I
get nothing, no blinking lights, nothing. I have even tried using dhcp
and still got nothing.
In windows it works perfectly though.
I have rechecked my cabling, tried different IRQ's, after going over
this with several of my coworkers. I am close to giving up.
System Info:
Computer : IBM Think Pad 390X
OS : Red Hat 6.1
kernel : 2.2.12 (standard pcmcia kernel that comes with 6.1)
pcmcia : Xircom CE3B-100BTX
