I have both the "Running Linux" and its companion "Linux in a Nutshell" both by O'reilly and Associates. The first is very good, I found it very readable and helpful. The second is more of a dictionary, listing every keyword and parameter for every command. I may need it sometime in the future, but for now "Running Linux" was enough for me.
