you can download redhat linux 6.2 from ftp.redhat.org, however when you say
linux-x.y.x.tgz you are referring to the linux kernel, not the redhat linux
distribution.

forgive my ignorance on this point, but how the heck do you go about
downloading the source for 6.2?  in the past, i've always just grabbed
linux-x.y.z.tar.gz, but what do i need to download in order to install
6.2?
