By changing the file formats, they dial in more
useless-except-to-be-looking-pretty foratting information.
We had WYSIWYG under dos 3, and paid for it in LOTS OF
proprietary file fomats. MS got us all on board with rtf,
whick was the word 4/5 standard. Thete we were, we bit the
hook, started using word in dos, OS/2 and then Windows.
Once we accepted windos, we had the hookin our gut ad Bill
jerked and set the hook. With word 6, we were back to
propritarty WYSIWYG by Bill. Now we are dragged
around. The option is to provide a WYSIWYG translation
utility tat accepts updates. and speaks text fluently.
