I'm having a BitchX of a time getting my printer to use the correct
font. I've installed WordPerfect, and I've also converted all of my
fonts from .TIF files to .afm and .pfb files. I've used WP's xwpfi to
install both the graphic and print fonts. I know this worked because
(1) the proper fonts are displayed from within WP and (2) the Times
New Roman font (unavailable prior to using xwpfi) is now printing
correctly.
However, there is one font that absolutely will not print, and I'll be
danged if I know where to turn from here. I'm using a HP2000TN, so it's
definitely not a shortcoming with the printer (and those with Win9x
desktops print this font with no problem).
How do I know which fonts are installed for my printer? The WP tools
are misleading, because it doesn't show Times New Roman as being
available and yet the printer is using that font.
Any advice would greatly be appreciated, because I'm absolutely out of
ideas. Thanks!
