find "ext2resize" on freshmeat. I use it with LVM's and it's worked for
me (on fairly large disk sets :)
Use ext2resize to shrink the filesystem on your hd. Once the filesystem
has been reduced, _CAREFULLY_ remove the linux partition from your drive
(not the swap), and add a new one that starts at the same position, and
extends as far as the new filesystem. Run lilo. Your kernel may have
moved (??)
Reboot and run an "fsck -f" on your filesystem.
If you're not confident doing that, try Partition Magic :)
