Hi, and thanks for your reply.


I set AtDot as per the instructions, double checking to make sure that 
all the file permissions were set correctly.  I got it to run and could 
log on as one user but none of the other users worked.  I got the wrong 
password please try again message.  The account that was let through was 
an account I created that didn't use shadow passwords.  I posted with the 
error message and specifics and was told that I needed to configure AtDot 
to use shadow passwords,  I have looked through the documentation and the 
scripts themselves trying to find a place to "activate" shadowed 
passwords with no luck.  Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place?  
Maybe I'm just missing it in the docs?  I dunno.. I installed Neomail 
which has a specific setting in the config file for shadow passwords and 
it worked fine but doesn't offer some of the added functionality of AtDot 
(folder support etc).  Did you have to "configure" AtDot to use shadow 
passwords, if so where?  If you didn't.. perhaps I will try installing it 
again from scratch...
