Hi,
Using fetchmail 5.3.1 as root in daemon mode to fetch mail from two
mailboxes on an external mail server. I do logging of the fetchmail
activities to syslog.
I have not used the 'monitor' keyword in the .fetchmailrc file, neither
on the command line. Nevertheless I frequently see the message:
fetchmail[xxxx]: skipping poll of mail.schaffter.com, ppp0 inactive
in the log. I had expected this if I had used the 'monitor ppp0'
keywords, but...
Any explanations, anyone? Is this a bug in fetchmail?
