Hi everybody! While experimenting with imap, sendmail and everything that goes with it I arrived at the point where everything seems to be working. I can login to the server and connect to my IMAP directory, I can read my mail, I can send and receive mail (a smal issue with sending mail to local users is to be solved) but I keep getting logs from "pam_rhosts_auth" each time I login to my IMAP directory: May 1 11:17:42 linuxserv pam_rhosts_auth[8012]: denied to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as zoki: access not allowed May 1 11:19:23 linuxserv pam_rhosts_auth[8018]: denied to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as zoki: access not allowed May 1 11:21:46 linuxserv pam_rhosts_auth[8031]: denied to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as zoki: access not allowed This doesn't seem to affect anything but I would like to know what's happening. Let's say I would like to know how to stop these authentication errors. I read the PAM HOWTO but - as always - the learning curve is steep and it's not my priority at the moment. It would help me out if somebody could make me stop the error logs. I'll spend some more time later on to understand what's what. Setup: One server (NFS, Samba, and now mail), one Linux station, same passwd and group id's on both boxes, errors only when loging to IMAP... Thanks!
