Yeah, and what's really cool is when a user opens up a
packet sniffer and logs all the packets on your subnet
for a while...and then searches through the log for
"login:"'s and finds the root password in plain text...
...and then he telnets in using a user account and su's to
root, and does...
rm -Rf /
(thus erasing almost everything) now that's cool. real cool.
trust me, there's no excuse for not using an encrypted
protocol/application like ssh.
It takes about 5 minutes to install and setup an ssh client/server,
and worth all 300 seconds of it.
