 Well, that is not what you call a very specific question. Read the NET-3-
HOWTO.
 One thing you should know: This makes no sense for a bus network, since one 
card can handle the total throughput of the bus. If you are using coax or UTP 
with a hub there is nothing to balance. If you use a switched network, or you 
split your network in two halves, so each NIC handles half of the network, you 
might increase your throughput. In the latter case you will have to install 
bridging or routing in the dual NIC PC if you want to connect the two halves.
 There is of course a third possibility to connect two (or more) PC's with two 
NICs each, but that sounds odd. If you want to test something like that I 
think you better do it by connecting two PC's via two serial ports. That is a 
little less exotic.
 If you want high throughput I suggest you get yourself fast ethernet, which 
is 10 times faster than normal ethernet. If you are just doing this for the 
experience: Have a lot of fun!
