Hi all people,
During installing WINE from tarball "wine-20000614.tar.gz" on RH6.2, the
captioned command could not be found under bash.
(performed in xterm window in FVWM2 (another level))
Steps taken
1. # cd /usr/src (where wine-20000614.tar.gz was kept)
2. tar zxvpf wine-20000614.tar.gz
3. cd /usr/src/wine-20000614
4. ./configure
5. make depend && make (all went through without problem)
6. sudo make install
bash: command could not be found
su -c make install
(same result)
cd /
# make install (WINE could not be installed from root)
# cd /usr/src/wine-20000614
make install
(it worked but WINE could not be located by "# wine -version". May-be
it has not be installed properly. Re-booted PC could not help)
Kindly advise what mistake has been committed and which files have to be
installed (rpm) from RH6.2 CD.
