Hey, Bero:
I've got 128K ISDN here, and I can't seem to get Up2Date to
work for me.... it keeps freezing. I'm running it out of a
root console window as my user, but I've done "xhost
+localhost" so that shouldn't be the problem. Besides it
starts up just fine, it just starts downloading and freezes.

I *just* got an error message: "Error -1() while receiving
response from package server." I've got updates.redhat.com
as my server. Should I try this on one of the mirrors
instead? Is it just that "updates.redhat.com" is busy or
something?

Here's what I got in my console window:

Exception in thread Thread-5:
Traceback (innermost last):
  File "/var/tmp/python/python-root/usr/lib/python1.5/threading.py", line 376, in
__bootstrap
    self.run()

  File "/var/tmp/python/python-root/usr/lib/python1.5/httplib.py", line 121, in

    line = self.file.readline()
KeyboardInterrupt:

This is VERY frustrating, as I'm *trying* to update my
RH6.2 box!!!
        John
