I need help from a guru. This isn't *strictly* redhat, so please feel
free to reply off-list.

I'd like to install a second linux distribution for more in-depth
learning (trying out kernel patches, etc.) My machine is currently
configured this way:

Drive 1 - 10 gb, first 5 gb given to W98, second 5 gb empty
Drive 2 - 8 gb, Redhat 6.2

What I'd like to do is make another linux install on the empty 5 gb on
drive 1. I have several questions about that, mostly revolving around
how I get that to be bootable.

I understand that if I use that second 5 gb, I won't be able to boot it
directly? Is that right? Will I have to build a floppy to boot from?
That would be okay, but I don't know how to do it.

Any help, pointers to documentation, etc., would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
Marc
