Bret and James, James Talkington wrote a message detailing a bit of this back on 3 May 2000. I would suggest starting with that. The subject was "Re: Netscape font size". I've enclosed his message, which includes the Font Deuglification HOW-TO, in a message to you too... I've cut out the HOW-TO for mailing to the group, since it was quite a sizeable message! You can start with the font-deuglification howto. Not sure of a url right now but a google search should get you there. Would not hurt to use uglification in your moongroup search as well. The crux is to install truetype fonts. Hope this helps. If that doesn't help, check /etc/X11/XF86Config, find the FontPath listings. Rearrange them so that the 100dpi fonts appear before the 75dpi fonts in the list. Restart X. What follows is Doug Holland's document titled "XFree86 Font Deuglification HOWTO". I've lost the original link to this document, so I hope the list will forgive the obnoxious use of bandwidth to send the text herein.
