Hi,
Did anybody try using talk in RedHat-6.2? Previously, I had RH6.1 and
talk was working fine. After I fresh installed RH6.2, talk stopped
working. What happens now is as under:
user1 types "talk user2"
user2 gets the message:
Message from Talk_Daemon@linux at 13:23 ...
talk: connection requested by [EMAIL PROTECTED]
talk: respond with: talk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Now user2 types "talk user1" or "talk [EMAIL PROTECTED]" and after
that, instead of getting connected, he keeps getting:
Message from Talk_Daemon@linux at 13:23 ...
talk: connection requested by [EMAIL PROTECTED]
talk: respond with: talk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and user1 also now gets:
Message from Talk_Daemon@linux at 13:23 ...
talk: connection requested by [EMAIL PROTECTED]
talk: respond with: talk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Is it a bug or am I missing something? "rpm -qa|grep talk" gives:
talk-server-0.16-4
talk-0.16-4
