Not with http as long as those surfing your site are reasonably up to date
in browser version.  FTP doesn't have a similar protocol, so it doesn't
work with name based virtual hosting.  Some FTP daemons have taken this
into account and use the documentroot directive to send clients to the
proper file tree, but you have to manually set this up in the
configuration file for each name based virtual domain.
