Is this one of those "you could just cut out the middle man and have
fetchmail set up to pull from source A and stick mail in destination A,
etc" deals?

Consider the fact that all the To: fields should be unique to a particular
account. If you go and pull email from 4 accts and stick it all in one
local account.. then procmail it back out to 4 different accounts.. why
don't you just set up fetchmail with 4 poll entries and have it slap the
mail in the correct place and be done with it?

Now.. I don't know if this is anywhere near to your situation.. but I just
thought I'd mention it :P
