If you do not want to upgrade to 6.2 as Chris Watt suggests, try to install
using an updated bootfloppy. 6.0 gave me quite some problems, but I managed to
get an Asus P2B-DS working by inserting a new driver i/onto the boot disk. I
guess using an updated bootfloppy for 6.1 should just work fine. Check the ftp
site for an updated image.
