RE: bind not started after initializing RH 6.1

%-> rpm -i bind-8.2.1-7.i386.rpm

Other people have already helped you with the rest of the steps, but I
thought I'd chime in and advise you to upgrade to a newer version of BIND
a.s.a.p. 8.2.1 is full of holes -- get the latest 8.2.2p5 version if you're
going to connect to the Internet. If you don't, expect to be cracked...
