I think that's about it.

The network bandwidth didn't turn out to be an issue for me. I have the DSL
gateway box and my two linux machines on one 10 base T hub, and DSL is slow
enough that it's still the limiting factor.

I think though that the original poster was connecting out via ethernet, so it
might become a problem then. I wouldn't worry about it though.
