RawHide Files

I have downloaded twice now the Xfre and Kernel files from the Rawhide

directory once from RedHat and once from VA mirror site and both times

rpm has seem them as broken and won't open them never mind installing

them. I get and error something like:

only files <=3 are able to be installed with this version of rpm.

If I use mc the screen goes red and there a lot of grap over the top, letters

number broken code stuff.

Has anybody else come across this I have RH 6.2 installed from an ISO file

I got off RedHat. As the file I got was able to burn and does run up and install

I figure it's not a corrupt CD and other rpms do install it's just the Rawhide stuff

I find I'm having problems with.

I don't need the kernel so much I don't think but I have to have Xfree86 4.0 for the

Nvidia TNT 2 64 drivers off of there site to give me the direct 3d etc

I did try to get to the XFree86 site but it's been loaded up of late and have not been

able to loggin.
