I have installed redhat 6.2 on an Asus a7v system, but have had
nothing but troubles with it.
After changing the kernel to 2.2.16-3 I can now boot, but compiling
causes the system crash, somtimes due to segmentation faults other times
do to an inability to write to the swip file. Gnome and kde also crash the
system about once a day, causing a very messy reboot that requires a fair
bit of file repairing.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on here?
