Sorry I missed the original post on this but I thought I'd throw in my 2
cents :)

I tried installing linux on a 566 celeron Presario in January and it was a
complete waste of time (in my opinion).  The install went over ok but X
didn't recognize the graphics card....well, can't call it a card
anymore...it was sharing mem with the system RAM.  I was unable to get it
to function properly in the end.  I guess I should have paid more
attention to the "Windows 98" sticker on the front of the machine....that
kind of advertising doesn't come for free :)
