I do agree with you on this, and I guess you could try sending an email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject "password" to retrieve your
password, and then write an email to the same address with the subject
"unsubscribe". Or just try "help".
But I must say needing a password to unsubscribe is a little laborious, and
not everybody knows that <listname>-request@domain is the place to go, so I
guess it should be easier if this address was mentioned in the footer.
