Hi,
I'm trying to install the mesa library. When I try to install
Mesa-3.3-5.i386.rpm, I get an error message:
error: failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.3) is needed by Mesa-3.3-5
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2) is needed by Mesa-3.3-5
My current libc is libc-2.1.2.so. I haven't been able to track down
libc-2.2. But I did find libc.rpm, which is 2.1.3. When I tried to
install this rpm. I got the error message:
error: failed dependencies:
kernel_headers is needed by libc-2.1.3-91
So I got kernel-headers-2.2.16-21.i386.rpm, and installed that OK, but
I'm still getting the error message when I try to install libc.rpm. How
do I insall these things so that I have mesa? I'm running Red Hat 6.1,
kernel 2.2.12-20 smp. Thanks,
