re: MP3s from FAT32 using XMMS

I don't experience interruptions, BUT -

my MP3 files are horribly fragmented on my FAT32
partition.  I put them there with bladeenc under Linux, and Windows2000
tells me I have about 500 fragments PER FILE.

So maybe something similar is happening - any peculiarities to how
FAT32 stores big (4 MB) files?
