I have a 13GB disk and lilo works fine. Just make sure that LBA mode
is turned on for it in BIOS. I also have the linear option in my
lilo.conf (I don't know exactly what this effects), and a /boot partition
of about 5-8MB (which is on the large side) at the very beginning of the
disk to avoid the 1024th cylindar issue :)
