I am having memory problems I added the statement append=mem=128M" to my
lilo.conf and it won't recognise it.
Here is my lilo.conf file:
<snip>
image=/boot/linux-2.2.12
        label=linux
        initrd=/boot/initrd-2.2.12-20.img
        read-only
        root=/dev/hda2
        append=" mem=128M"

other=/dev/hda1
        label=dos

Here is my readout from free

             total used free shared buffers cached
Mem:   127820     124748   3072      28396       9212      50796
- -/+ buffers/cache:      64740           63080
Swap:       401616       2288            399328

I think I should definately have more 3 Megs free !
What is wrong here ?
