Not A problem, This is my setup, 6 ide hard disks and 2 cdroms.
/dev/hda5 / ext2
/dev/hda1 /boot ext2
/dev/hda6 swap swap
/dev/hdh2 /games ext2
/dev/hdh1 /More ext2
/dev/hdf1 /Compile ext2
/dev/hdf2 /Stuff ext2
/dev/hdf3 /Programs ext2
/dev/hdd1 /home/ftp/pub ext2
/dev/hdg1 /Things ext2
/dev/hde1 /home/ftp/pub2 ext2
/dev/hdb <-- cdrom
/dev/hdc <-- cdrw
