Howdy,
I just noticed this entry at the very top of this week's /var/log/message:
[root@csc003 /root]# cat /var/log/messages
Oct 8 04:02:00 csc003 syslogd 1.3-3: restart.
Oct 8 04:02:00 csc003 syslogd 1.3-3: restart.
Oct 8 04:02:00 csc003 syslogd 1.3-3: restart.
Oct 8 04:02:00 csc003 syslogd 1.3-3: restart.
Oct 8 04:02:00 csc003 syslogd 1.3-3: restart.
That seems very strange - do you think it's an attempted crack? If not what would
cause that?
