The entries in /etc/fstab are mounted at boot time (when, I'm assuming,
you're getting these error messages).  You could get rid of the error
messages by putting a CD in your CD drive (if that's what giving you the
error message... you don't say).

You can also mount the device later.  You don't have to mount it at boot
time.  So you can take the entry out of /etc/fstab.
