You know what they say about assume, it makes an ass out of u and me!!

It turns out that what gets stored on the queue is the original file to
be printed, i.e. prior to being passed through all the filters, not the
byte-stream to be sent to the printer!!!

So my reversal fix works fine.

If anyone is interested in it I can send up the files I modified.  Works
fine for postscript printers, if needed.
