Hello:
I have the following setup:
A Rage Fury Maxx card which is 2 of the Rage 128 pro (32meg) on one card
running on a dual pII 333 using a SCSI setup. My monitor is a 19 inch Dragon
eye by Sceptre (the D97A Model). My problem is that X config errors out on
setup and on other trys after I tried Xconfiguator later after finishing the
setup of 7.0. Does anyone have this combo working? I have as yet to try a
different monitor but I feel it's worth a try. RH 7.0 seems to be detecting
my card correctly as it sees the Rage 128 pro and sees the memory. My
monitor is not listed and I have tried my known horizontal and vertical
settings but X refuses to start. If no one here has this setup is there any
advice as to where to start looking for clues as to what could be the
problem? I have had this same machine working in X mode "But" with a
different video card and a different monitor and with RH 6.2. This is not an
upgrade but a fresh install of 7.0. It is dual boot with windoze 98 on one 4
gig SCSI drive and RH 7.0 on another 4 gig SCSI drive.
