I use povray to render animations that illustrate things like
projectile motion and simple harmonic motion. The problem with using
povray this way is that it takes a long time and the resulting
animations are large. Is there some kind of 3D scripting language
that will let you define some object (as in povray) and define their
position as a function of time?
I know that one could do this with a programming language and a
library like OpenGL, but I don't know how to use OpenGL and am
looking for a higher-level more specialized language. Kinda like a
gawk for 3D graphics. ;)
Thanks,
Ben Logan
