I tend to agree with most everyone else that has replied to this
message. I've had both 5.2 and 6.2 act in the same way when a HD went
bad.... (not yet a controller, but at least 3 drives... ) From personal
experience with my servers, the -r now variables are default anyway, and
really wont make a difference whether you use it or not. But as I say with
everything.... I didn't write it, so I can't say 100% on anything! ;-)
