Be aware that nslookup will be going away as of bind version 9.

The new utility, dig(1), has been included on Red Hat for a few releases
now, and once you're used to it it's better than nslookup.

In your case, the command would be

dig domain.com mx

...or, if you prefer,

dig @your.nameserver.com domain.com mx
