I have recently re-subscribed to this list so I do not know if this thread
has been beaten to death. I want to install KDE 2 onto my system and have
downloaded everything related to the Red Hat 7.0 release. Most things
complain about missing libraries, dependency errors, etc... I have tried
several permutations of installation sequences to no avail. Can anyone point
me to some resources or does anyone know if KDE2 currently works on RH 7.0?
I notice a lot of other things have broken under 7.0 (like the hair pulling
session it took to get Oracle running), so it looks like I will be waiting
for the .2 release once again. (as with 4, 5, and 6.0) I would really like
to get this working now however.
