Yes, on Mylex; very easy, works great. As for your problem, do you have
another Linux box? If so, build a bare kernel with the driver module in
it, build a boot disk and put that kernel on it. Then you should be able
to boot the new system from floppy. Once you're in, configure/rebuild as
necessary.
Note that you cannot just mount the / file system and move the driver
module over. It needs to be either in the kernel or in the initrd image.
Putting it in the kernel is easiest for this process.
