I was messing with Apache last night (which I shouldn't have, as usual) and
used linuxconf so that it would execute CGI and run SSI. Since then, I
keep getting 403 errors -- permission not allowed errors. All I did was
change about 5 settings to get CGI and SSI execution working. I worked
with it a bit more, to no sucess. In fact, I changed the settings back to
the original stock values, and it didn't fix the 403 errors. After
checking the logs, it said that access denied due to server configuration
"/home/httpd/html" 403. There was a second number and I believe it was 287
or 284. I'm at work now and don't ahve access to the machine....on a whim
I thought I would ask for some advice on the list so I didn't bring in the
exact errors...sorry!
Thanks in advance..
Scott
