I have tried everything I know and still am unable
to get a x-window session using rexec.
I have updated the /etc/xinetd.d/rexec and added and
then removed the entries in hosts.allow and hosts.deny.
but still nothing . I have upgraded to the latest xinetd
that is posted on the rh web site.
When I try a rlogin I get a window up on my pc but then within a few seconds
it closes. When I try doing the same with rexec it closes immediately.
This is the command I send during the rlogin and rexec
/usr/X11R6/bin/rxvt -ls -sb -display @d -fn corb14 -T pluto -n pluto &
I had no trouble in rh 6.2 using Hummingbird Exceed Xterm but
no joy with RH 7.0.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also I cant seem to get the stty erase to accept the ^H correctly
when hitting the backspace key on a xterm on the keyboard all I get is the
bell:(.
