i don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but i'm running
RH on two gateway solo 2500 laptops. of course, they didn't come with RH
pre-installed, but the install was really quite painless (even the pcmcia
support). i purchased one new back in 1998 and the second was a
refurbished machine in 1999. they both run like champs.
