Hi,

I am sorry that I am not totally getting this. If you telnet on to your machine,
users are looking for the password as it is typed. OK, that I understand, but what I
am
not real clear about is that by using SSH how do you log in? Or does that give you a
log
in prompt without telneting??

I have a second question that I can not find any information on. I have a machine
running RH 6.2
and it has 112 processer going currently. What can I do to track them down, or find
out what is going
on. At one point it was at 56 now it is at 112. I have noticed that my activity out
of top is running
at 1.4 most of the time. It appears that only 2 people are logged in ME and ROOT. (
Me , then SU over.)
I know that it something that I should not do. I am new to all this and trying to
learn. My fire suit is right
near me. So I can get protection if needed..

THANK YOU VERY MUCH....
