how to compile ide-scsi module?

hello,
i got an ide cd burner and i need the ide-scsi module to use it.  what option 
do i turn on when i do make menuconfig when compiling the kernel?  i've been 
looking and can't find it...

P.S.  for the ide-scsi module to work, i have to put something in my lilo 
config, right?  i've done this before, but i forgot...=/
