Hi,

I am struggling to make alsa work with kernel 2.4.0
but not succesful. Use gcc 2.95.2 kernel 2.4.0

- first wrong with the wavefront.c; I corrected it
(something about the loop_per_sec change to
loop_per_jiffy not remember exactly) then wavefront.c
is Ok;

- but when go to another file emu10k1.c it is wrong
again with the warning No declaration PCI_COMMAND;
PCI_LATTENCY .......; actually I compiled the kernl
without PCI support as my computer doesn't have it. I
got stuck here.

- Before I use kernel 2.2.18; compile using egcs
2.91...; all compilation is Okay but when it runs
depmod; the unresovlved symbol error occur with
emu10k.o . Anyway I could ignore that as my opl3sa2.o
is still ok. But now gcc refuses to proceed.

- I think there is a bug some where in alsa 5.10 with
emuk10.c but not know how to work around it.

- Please give some idea of help.

Thank you very much

Steve
