Hello,

I'm sure most have you have already seen or heard about the discovered 
compiled in backdoor superuser account that was placed in Interbase by 
the original developers. It was put in sometime between 1992 and 1994 
and has been in every release of interbase. While it is unfortunate that 
something like this exists, it is an excellent example of one of the 
benefits of open source software.
