Anyone using an MSI-6330
Motherboard?
If so any luck on getting the VIa Tech sound
up?
Kudzu and sbconfig sensed the Via
Tech sound chipset successfully...but sbconfig reported it as "device or
resource busy."It is set by default for irq=5 etc...
I was thinking I may have to just disable it in the BIos
and just install a PCI sound card such as the SB Ensoniq qhich I hear IS Linux
compatible...but I'm hoping the system up.
Current system is:
MSI 6330 Motherboard
AMD Duron 750
128mb ram
S3 4mb video card
2.1gb hdd
cdrom drive
* I stripped an old Pentium.. have a MSI ms-6199 P3 board w/
c366/64mb ati-xpert 2000 32mb agp video,52xcdrom...sb sound card...etc...when I
don't need Win98 anymore in my Network Admin. course...I'm getting shot of it
and putting Linux on this one too!
