Hi all, My home masquerade server got hacked. Intruder started up GRE and to fix I am doing a complete reinstall with a better firewall install. However, when I go to reinstall RH7 with the updates disk and a new boot disk, the installer does not see the NICs (LinkSys). On a prior install these cards were identified without difficulty. Is it possible for a hacker to somehow corrupt the NICs? I have reseated them and cleaned the edge connectors. Don't have another computer to check them out.
