As we know, setiathome utilizes only one CPU. I ran setiathome and watched in top as the process switched back and forth between CPU0 and CPU1. Running a second instance of setiathome shows both processors at 100% usage. However, I have the feeling that these processes are switching between CPU's, slowing them down a bit. I've found a project called Pset which is supposed to tie a process to a particular CPU. I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with this, and can offer an opinion. Thank you very much, Clarence Donath mrdo.com _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
