I think I found my problem. My printer was taking a slice off the top of my
letters when I was printing and I had posted a message asking how I might fix
that.
Well, I just went into the printer options and changed the paper selection
from:
A4(210x297mm,8.26x11.7inches) to
Letter (8.5x11 inches, 216x279mm).
That fixed it. the second choice did it exactly. Now, my question is how do I
save that selection. I notice it disappears when I close KDE down. And I have
to reset it to the 'letter' choice if I want to print again. Surely there
must be a way to select a permanent change??
